Remind yourself of a few things when following your nutrition plan can get difficult.

  • First, cheating on your diet is not cheating yourself. Not your coach, not anyone else except you. For lifestyle purposes, you can have a few meals off plan per week without killing your gains and/or weight-loss momentum.
  • Secondly, you should have a strategy in place. Seltzer water, black coffee, and many other appetitive suppressants can help keep you full until your next meal.
  • Third, you should realize the digging phase is TEMPORARY. If you canā€™t handle the temporary struggle, you arenā€™t earning the long term pleasure, the restaurants and the unhealthy foods that you love arenā€™t going to be disappear overnight.
