Choose to be happy

It’s okay to want to change your body.

It’s not okay to think your happiness depends on that 6 packs abs or that big biceps.

You look in the mirror and don’t love what you see.⁣⁣

And it all reminds you: “I want to lose weight, change my body, and better myself.”⁣⁣

But what tends to happen is we let our body mean something it doesn’t mean.⁣

A fit, muscular body with 6 packs abs is not a better body.⁣

A 6 packs abs doesn’t fix your problems.⁣

A muscular body doesn’t make you happier – trust me.⁣⁣

And if you’re sitting here, thinking that losing weight will solve your problems – it does but it also doesn’t!⁣⁣

It may make you look better to yourself – which is awesome! But you do not need that to be happy.⁣

You do not need that to be fulfilled in life.⁣

You can be happy and fulfilled RIGHT NOW.⁣

We’ve gotta stop thinking that life and happiness starts when we reach our ideal weight.⁣

That’s a lie. Life is happening RIGHT NOW.⁣

You can be happy, and love life, WHILE you’re working on yourself.⁣⁣

Stop disqualifying yourself from the best days of your life just because you’re “not in shape enough”.⁣
