What If You Succeed

The thing about planning for failure or paying too much attention to the worst case scenario to avoid being disappointed is that you just start your body off within the “negativity” place. ⁣

Emotionally, mentally, physically, after you prepare yourself for that worst case scenario, you’re telling your heart that’s all of your worth. You’re worrying hours, days, or weeks before having factual information that something has or will fail. ⁣

Stress is healthy to a degree. But chronic stress (fear) activates fight and flight in you which means cortisol just flowing through your body.

You’re not setting yourself up to be disappointed by visualizing the positives because, let’s be honest, even when thinking of the worst case scenario, it doesn’t diminish the frustration you are feeling if something goes awry. ⁣⁣

It’s time to retrain your brain into wondering what could go right. What amazing, successful outcomes can be awaiting ahead you? It’s not overly optimistic or silly to live life that way.
