Lack of Motivation? Maybe Not

Are you sure itā€™s motivation that you lack? Or is it really discipline?

There are a great deal of days where you would find yourself in the gym or at work and you are not ā€œmotivatedā€ to be there.

You may feel lethargic, your body is tired, you’re sore, and the couch and television are calling you.

But five days per week you find a way to grit my teeth and drag your legs in there, put in work and then AND ONLY then, can you take in the comfort of the couch.

Whether you have motivation is irrelevant at this point. Itā€™s discipline that takes you there.

Itā€™s committing yourself to something that keeps you on track of your goals. A part of your day as important as lunch or dinner is knowing that without it, youā€™d be starving my mental health of what it needs to push through the rough patches.

When motivation is absent, discipline is your failsafe. Be it fitness or any other goals in life.
