Living Simple And De-clutter Your Place

TIPS TO LIVE SIMPLE BY DECLUTTERING YOUR PLACES

Clean as you go: If you’re cooking, clean your utensils after you finish cooking and wash dishes “soon” after lunch or dinners. When you get home, look around your house, apartment, and take out your trash from the day, instead of letting it pile up day after day, the more you procrastinate, the worse it gets. If it only takes a few minutes, then simply putting things back where they belong after you’re done using them, whether it clothes, dishes, books, utensil, tools, etc. can put your mind at ease – little things that add up to a whole lot of tidying and cleanliness.

If there isn’t a place for an item to be put in, you could work on creating a place or a box for it, and getting rid of things you no longer use to create the new space.

Try to spend 10 – 15 min each night before bed picking things up and cleaning a little you can be surprised how well you can maintain a clean home. The go for a big cleaning once a month.

Don’t procrastinate, because things pile up very quickly.

Donate box of random things you no longer use but still in good condition like clothes, shoes, tools, DVD, books, etc.

Be selective about what you bring into your home, especially your study room or bed room, because every time you add a new thing to your place, it gets smaller and the mess gets bigger, and if you don’t get rid of anything that you no longer use, it’ll just keep growing.
